Description

The estate’s oldest vines, planted in 1942, make up a proportion of this classic Syrah-based Côte Rôtie wine. Ripe black fruits, smoked barbequed meat and black pepper followed by a hint of dark chocolate complements the bold yet silky tannins of this full-bodied wine.

Grapes are 100% destemmed before fermentation and spend 26 months in 50% new 300-litre French barrels. Côte Rozier is capable of long-term aging and only 2200 bottles are produced each year.
